I was at dchs this Saturday(4-19) enjoying the day with friends when several groups showed up with sleeping bags camping gear, etc. Must have been about 3 or 4 different groups of people. I watched as they cut down the big tree that was north of the springs by the P.C.T. and broke it apart into firewood and built big campfires. O.K O.K. enough of that story. I warned some campers that they will get a ticket for camping if the rangers show up. This led to a debate about the law and camping at dchs. I dont want to get into the campfire stuff. We all know about that law. This is what im asking. I DONT want to know what the rangers MIGHT DO. Maybe they will be in a good mood and just tell people to leave. What I WANT TO KNOW is what's THE LAW about camping down at the springs? Do you need to be one mile away from the creek to camp? What if you have a permit for hiking the P.C.T.? Can you camp there then? Just the facts of what the laws are. Thanks, Greg
