In the June issue of the National Geographic magazine, there is an article entitled, The Big Thaw: Ice on the Run, Seas on the Rise. More evidence of the world's quickly disappearing ice structures. Along with this, the planets vast areas of permafrost in the Northern hemisphere are thawing out at an accelerating rate, producing wide array of consequent negative repercussions.
