Crag, Deep Creek Hotsprings is in forestry lands so they would be the appropriate agency to contact concerning this issue. BLM lands end about a mile north of the hotsprings. Many frog species around the world are disappearing because of various infectious agents. The reasons for this prevelant negative situation with the frogs is a mystery in many cases. Its very complex task to identify the ultimate cause. I have mentioned before here at the forum that I think its most likely that these Arroyo Toads are disappearing for infectious or climactic changes that have nothing to do with the very limited human impact on this 20 mile stream area of Deep Creek.
