...VERY HOT DAYS INLAND THROUGH THE WEEKEND...
STRONG HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL BRING MORE HOT WEATHER THROUGH THE
WEEKEND. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE 100 TO 110 DEGREE RANGE IN
THE INLAND EMPIRE AND IN THE MID 90S TO 105 IN THE SAN DIEGO INLAND
VALLEYS AND MOUNTAIN FOOTHILLS. THE LOWER DESERTS WILL BE 110 TO 120
DEGREES AND THE HIGH DESERTS WILL RANGE FROM ABOUT 102 TO 112.
INLAND ORANGE COUNTY WILL BE NEAR 100 DEGREES.
THE HOTTEST DAY WILL BE SATURDAY. MOISTURE IN SOUTHEAST FLOW ALOFT
WILL BRING MORE CLOUDS AND HIGHER HUMIDITIES EARLY NEXT WEEK. THIS
WILL CAUSE A LITTLE LOWER MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES...BUT HIGHER
HUMIDITIES WILL MAKE IT FEEL JUST ABOUT AS HOT.
PEOPLE SHOULD REDUCE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES DURING THE HOTTEST PART OF
THE DAY. IF OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES CANNOT BE AVOIDED DURING AFTERNOONS
THEN WEAR LOOSE FITTING LIGHT WEIGHT AND LIGHT COLORED
CLOTHING...AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. NO PERSON OR PET SHOULD BE
LEFT IN AN ENCLOSED VEHICLE...EVEN FOR THE A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.
TEMPERATURES WILL QUICKLY RISE TO LIFE-THREATENING LEVELS...EVEN IF
THE WINDOWS ARE PARTIALLY OPENED.
