Thank you much for the info. Me and my hubby have no problem with the optional clothing, but my 13 year old son and 10 year old daughter, well? We shall see. But it definitely sounds like a great and beautiful place to hang out! I am very excited. Until now, the only local place we would go to with swimming holes and such, was in Santa Barbara county. Otherwise, we'd drive to the Colorado River.
If we park at the Forest Service trailhead, is it still a 3.1 mile hike in? Just want to be prepared, gear wise.
