After an extremely disappointing visit to Black's Beach today (Tuesday--windy and overcast), I was expecting more of the same if I went to DC on Wednesday. I decided to make the long journey back home to Vegas, and arrived safely around 9pm. I'll get an early start for some sun and soaking at Arizona Hot Springs instead.
My trip wasn't exactly a total waste...I had to get my nephew back to his ship anyway, and I did enjoy the beauty of Black's Beach while logging a few miles on an exhilarating jog...just would have liked to have met some of the local naturists. I'll try to make a Friday-Saturday visit to DC some time this Spring.
