There is a good sized fire which started some time today in the northern San Bernardino Mountains. From our area over in north eastern Apple Valley it looks like this fire is roughly in the general area of 3N14, some miles east of the Oak Springs Ranch ( perhaps around the Coxey Meadows area ). The brisk winds we have had during the day look to be pushing this fire pretty rapidly to the north east. I know things are exceedingly dry in those hills. I'll be checking out the local news channels at 8PM to see if they have any info on the fire.
