The Butler 2 fire north of Big Bear lake has grown fast today. New reports this evening say its over 20,000 acres in size. I went out for a drive with my daughters today to take some photos of the fire clouds. I put 4 of these photos at the Flickr photo website where my Burningman Photos are:

There are mandatory evacuations orders for Fawnskin, and the Green valley lake area, with current voluntary evacuations for Running Springs, and for extreme southern areas of Lucerne Valley.
The Moon is Waxing Gibbous (86% of Full)
