I go to Remington alot. If you like the comercial pay for your soak then try Miracle. Coming out of Bakersfield take the 178 heading east. Go almost all the way up 178, stay on the highway until you see a sign on your right for Miracle Hot Springs, go right. Go up the hill then right again, follow the road and you can't miss the signs.
Remington is past Miracle about 1.5 miles, there are no signs but there is a parking lot on the right side with a Telephone pole in the middle. The trail is well marked and takes you down the hill to the river and spring.
