Craig, the hot springs in the Santa Barbara vicinity include Big Caliente, Little Caliente, Montecito, San Marcos, Tecolote Tunnel, and Gaviota.
Big Caliente and Little Caliente are behind Santa Barbara down in the Santa Ynez River Valley. No ocean view, but they are excellent springs.
Montecito Hot Springs is Now just a trickle. Located at the end of the trail up Hot Springs Canyon. You can see the ocean from a point about 300 feet in front of the springs where the old resort used to be that burned in the Coyote Fire of 1964, but not from the spring itself.
San Marcos Hot Springs is up an unnamed canyon off of Highway 154 near Lake Cachuma. Very hard to find and probably just a trickle. I have not been there, but no ocean view.
I also have not been to the Tecolote Tunnel spring, but my friends say it's just a trickle and not soakable. There are nearby ocean views.
Gaviota Hot Springs is located at the junction of Highway 101 about 40 miles north of Santa Barbara. Very nice, short uphill hike, but no ocean views. I can provide you with more info if you need it.
