Fyzi, The tricky part of the Bradford Ridge Trail is the first part. Once you were at the pole gate visible from the Kinely creek bridge you walk north from it about 30 or 40 feet, something like that and you will be in a small canyon. Follow the canyon downhill and within a few hundred fee you will see the trail cutting away from the canyon to your right. After that, the trail is clear to the edge of the Deep Creek Canyon. This trail is not an official Forestry Trail and therefor is not maintained by them. It was done by private individuals. It is not a completely clear trail for its full length. For a first timer I can understand how it might be easy to get off track. As Craig said give the Bowen Ranch a try next time around. More people go that way and it is shorter than the Bradford Ridge Route. You do pay a 4 dollar day fee for going across this property to the parking area. Get a direction sheet from whoever is at the ranch because I've known people to get lost coming in that way to. Heck I helped some people recently who got lost leaving the springs, going back to the Bowen Ranch on thier first visit so remember the way you went in. Good luck next time around :-)
