I think if anything the Mohave Forks dam needs a gate that would enable the tube to be closed in case it was compromised by large scale flooding. that way flood waters could then still go over the spill way until the flooding stopped and the tube could be repaired. Right now there is no gate and if the tube collapsed or broke apart that could undermine this dam.
