My last snake was a Mojave Green on the Goat Trail last Oct 29. It was about 40 degrees at 1000 am and so it was looking for a little warmth by the trail. I noticed it because a squirrel was trying to chase it away and was running up and then jumping back from it to try to make it move on. It's the one's by the springs that are troublesome because everyone is so relaxed they aren't watching for them.
