Thanks again for helping me to keep things straight, Wizard. By the way the word wizard in greek is translated Pharmacia. I did not know you could be a drug pusher. I know for sure you are not, I just thought translations are interesting.
About that creek, about 1000 yards from Hwy 173 there used to be a huge granite boulder where the water would thunder out and over fourty feet making a vert loud noise. As loud as a jet engine on take off. It was an amazing thing to witness. That large granite boulder has now moved down the hill. Still an awesome water fall is there.
Also, my son has always had a knack with animals. Once when we were in that canyon and there was only a small amount of water flowing there. He rolled a tire sized boulder over and found a nest of 15-20 frogs there. I have never seen so many frogs since. Another time he picked up a rattle snake with a stick. He brought it over to show me. Knowing I would run at this sight. It makes me shake just remembering about that. He is a very good son and man now and doing very well for his little family.
That canyon is the last place where both pine and cottonwood trees meet before the desert takes over.
