gypsyrob,
Or you may bring a small inflatable boat and rope your self across. You would be the most popular hot springer there.
I'll check, but you can find directions to the Bradford ridge trail at the Deep Creek Volunteers site which has a link on the bottom of this page. The problem with camping there is it is a 2.4 mile hike. The ridge it's self is a 600 foot change in elevation in @ 1/4 of a mile. A real challenge for those out of shape. The Forest service requires a Forest adventure pass and they made the 12 car parking lot smaller to 2 cars. So, you may have to park beside the road. There is a shooting range 1 mile away so you hear their bang banging guns.
But, it is pavement all the way there. However, you may need to check to be certain there is not snow in that area.
May the Force be w/you !
