Hi all, I just wanted to thank everyone for the help figuring things out. A brief trip report: We changed plans and drove out saturday morning and planned to spend the night after relaxing. We parked at the trailhead. There were 5 other cars, most just arriving around 7am. We headed down the trail and initially took a difficult trail along the ridge because we missed the trail on the very toby birdbrain5381 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
As promised, here's everything I could put together on the GPS files for the trails. I pulled from several different blogs and trip reports to aggregate everything, and I think you can see the split in the Bradford trail pretty well (there's a track for each way). Thanks for all the help Neogeo! I see you are a frequent poster, so I hoped to see you or wizard or someone. I edited my initial post with some info I got from the ranger station. It sounds like Bradford Ridge might be a bit better given I plan to be there when a large group will go via Bowen. Thanks again!by birdbrain5381 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Hi all! I've spent a decent amount of time scrolling and searching the forum, but I couldn't find the info I'm looking for. Unfortunately, the ranger station is closed so I can't reach them (I'm calling when they open tomorrow), so I wanted to ask those of you who are experienced with the area. My wife and I are experienced hikers and campers. We have thought DCHS looked like an amazing plby birdbrain5381 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
