Thanks for all the help Neogeo! I see you are a frequent poster, so I hoped to see you or wizard or someone.

I edited my initial post with some info I got from the ranger station. It sounds like Bradford Ridge might be a bit better given I plan to be there when a large group will go via Bowen.
