With the deer hunting season on the way it's hard to do any work in and around the hot springs.
There are more hunters than the deer and not too many people have any luck.
I drained the bottom pool to scrab but do not think the visitors who came later were happy.
So I'll have to wait for the season end to do any repairs etc. I did manage to put back the source pipe after
somebody ripped it out 2 weeks ago after I spent a day fixing it. I'll make it more secure in the fall.
There are also some activities at the springs past the 10PM curfew. I found and collected some discussting artifacts
by the pools.
In any case, the top and bottom pools are in OK shape but the middle pool will require some drain pipe work before
I can dig it out. I met the rangers and they struck me as very smart, intelligent and caring deeply for the wellbeing of the forrest.
These are the kind of people you want to be in charge of the forrest.
