According to Los Padres National Forest site,
As of September 27, 2011 the road to Big Caliente Hot Springs and Rock Campground are also OPEN.
The road to P Bar Camp, and Mono Campground and Little Caliente Hot Springs is also OPEN.
SPECIAL NOTE: Due to severe road damage to the road near the Little Caliente Hot Springs, there is no motor vehicle access for the last 1/4 mile on that road. There is a "Road Closed" sign and barrier where visitors can park and continue on foot the remainder of the distance to the hot springs.
Murietta Road is CLOSED.
Finally the road reopens a week before rain season that's going to wipe out all the repairs ;-)
