...A POTENTIAL CHANGE TO WET WEATHER AND COOLER TEMPERATURES ACROSS
ARIZONA OVER THE WEEKEND...

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE AREA WILL APPROACH ARIZONA FROM THE
NORTHWEST THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THE FLOW AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM WILL HELP
TO PULL LARGE AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE UP INTO SOUTH-CENTRAL AND PARTS OF
SOUTHWEST ARIZONA OVER THE UPCOMING WEEKEND. AS A RESULT...THERE WILL
BE INCREASING CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS WEEKEND AND
INTO MONDAY.

ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT FORM OVER THE WEEKEND...ESPECIALLY FROM
SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY COULD PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL
OVER MOST OF LA PAZ...YUMA...MARICOPA...NORTHWEST PINAL AND SOUTHERN
GILA COUNTIES. THEN ON MONDAY...A COLD FRONT WILL HELP TO PUSH THE
MOISTURE OUT OF THE AREA...BUT NOT BEFORE GIVING MORE CHANCES FOR
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...THIS TIME WITH BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY
WINDS AND HAIL POSSIBLE.

PERSONS PLANNING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES OVER THE WEEKEND...INCLUDING
BOATERS...CAMPERS AND HIKERS...SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE UPCOMING CHANGE
TO WETTER WEATHER...ESPECIALLY LATE SATURDAY...SUNDAY AND INTO
MONDAY...AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR LATER STATEMENTS REGARDING THIS
WEATHER CHANGE.

...COOLER WEATHER AND POSSIBLY SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR
EXTREME SOUTHWEST ARIZONA AND MOST OF SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA OVER THE
WEEKEND...

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE AREA WILL APPROACH ARIZONA AND SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA FROM THE NORTHWEST THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THE FLOW AHEAD OF
THIS SYSTEM WILL HELP TO PULL INCREASING AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE UP INTO
EXTREME SOUTHWEST ARIZONA AND SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA OVER THE UPCOMING
WEEKEND. AS A RESULT...THERE WILL BE SLIGHT CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS THIS WEEKEND AND INTO MONDAY.

ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT FORM OVER THE WEEKEND...ESPECIALLY FROM
SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY COULD PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL
OVER EXTREME WESTERN YUMA AND LA PAZ COUNTIES AS WELL AS IMPERIAL AND
EASTERN RIVERSIDE COUNTIES. IT WILL ALSO TURN BREEZY AND COOLER
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ACROSS THE AREA.

PERSONS PLANNING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES OVER THE WEEKEND...INCLUDING
BOATERS...CAMPERS AND HIKERS...SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE POSSIBLE CHANGE
TO WETTER WEATHER AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR LATER STATEMENTS REGARDING THIS
WEATHER CHANGE.
