SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAINS-
RIVERSIDE COUNTY MOUNTAINS-
THE SAN BERNARDINO NATIONAL FOREST-
SANTA ANA MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS-
SAN DIEGO COUNTY MOUNTAINS-
THE CLEVELAND NATIONAL FOREST-

...RED FLAG WARNING TODAY AND TUESDAY OVER THE MOUNTAINS OF SOUTHWEST
CALIFORNIA AND THE INLAND EMPIRE FOR SUSTAINED RELATIVE HUMIDITY LESS
THAN 10 PERCENT FOR 10 HOURS OR MORE EACH DAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A RED FLAG WARNING FOR THE
SAN BERNARDINO NATIONAL FOREST...THE CLEVELAND NATIONAL FOREST...AL
THE MOUNTAINS OF SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA...THE FOOTHILLS OF THE SANTA
ANA MOUNTAINS...AND THE INLAND EMPIRE OF SOUTHWEST SAN BERNARDINO
AND RIVERSIDE COUNTIES.

SEVERAL LOCATIONS EXCEEDED 10 HOURS OF RELATIVE HUMIDITY LESS THAN
10 PERCENT ON SUNDAY. SIMILAR CONDITIONS EXPECTED TODAY OVER MOST OF
SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA...EXCEPT COASTAL PLAIN OF ORANGE COUNTY AND SAN
DIEGO COAST AND VALLEYS WHERE SEA BREEZE WILL BE A LITTLE STRONGER
AND PUSH FARTHER INLAND EARLIER. WILL HAVE TO REEVALUATE STRENGTH OF
SEA BREEZE TUESDAY AS OFFSHORE FLOW MAY BE A LITTLE STRONGER DUE TO
LOW LEVEL CIRCULATION FROM TROPICAL CYCLONE HOWARD BEING FURTHER
NORTH.

PLEASE ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS AND FIRE CREWS IN THE FIELD
OF THIS RED FLAG WARNING.
