There were lots of thundershowers in the Victor Valley area yesterday, with some areas receiving severe downpours. The Spring Valley Lake community off of Bear Valley Rd, next to the Mohave River, received extensive flooding. There was also half inch sized hail in some spots. Here at our home in Apple Valley it started raining huge rain drops around 12:30 in the afternoon, and continued to rain hard for about an hour. I took a photo of the storm cloud approaching our home just before the rain started. I put this photo at the Wizard's pictures link below, last photo on page 46.
