I think there needs to be more signage on the trail marking the trail so people don't get lost and those signs should include information on the trail conditions, warning of the steepness of the trail, the change in elevation 1,000 feet down and then up, sudden changes in the weather (in the winter), the absolute necessity of substantial water in the summer. That's a good start. Maybe also information on emergency numbers.
