A suprise raincloud found its way to Juniper Flats last night and gave the ground a good soaking. Thankful trees and bushes spread their branches upward to recieve the gift. The rain was short lived and gone on the morning wind, leaving behind a very clear and cool windy day.
Over in the San Gregornio wilderness, searchers continue to look for a missing hiker. This dude is equiped for cold weather but took a wrong turn off the Vivian Creek Trail into some wild and rugged country. Solo hiking in the backcountry is ill advised, especially in late january.
