While at the event I did hear about one of the plane crashes. I crashed ( went to sleep ) at 1PM, Sunday morning, in my Burning Man homestead, so was not out on the Playa when this death probably occurred. With 30,000 plus people and all kinds of vehicles running this way and that, injuries are bound to happen eventually. I did see one injured girl with a big gash on her head. She had tried to climb up a ways on the Temple Of Honor and fell. She looked dazed but did not appear to have a life threatening injury. I was camped on the outer ring of the City and could see the temporary Airport and planes off in the distance. There was no moon out this time, and you did have to be real careful at night, while ridding around on the grounds of that huge event.
