What does Jobe's words express here? Is it OK to disrespect the USFS guidelines of day use only? Of course,each individual is entitled to their own opinion. I for one would like to encourage people to respect the limitations on camping,open fires and glass. Overnight camping is permitted in the Bowen Ranch area,either at the ranch or on the BLM lands.
Jobe has a history of squatting on private property in the area without consent of the owner. After he was burned out in the willow fire, he left the remains of his encampment behind for others to clean up. The burned out body of his bus remains on the hilltop as a reminder. It has been sitting there for 3-1/2 years. I think its time for him to pick up his mess.
