The BLM land remains open to camping and there is a really nice spot at the Mojave River Forks Campground.There are lots of huge junipers there and the riverlands are administered by the Corps of Engineers.Silverwood is also a great possibility as suggested by th Wizard.I will be away in Baja again at the end of the month so wherever the meeting is its ok by me.Local rumor has it that the springs are lightly populated these days.Soakers need to be aware the USFS will issue tickets to those found in the canyon.
