Re: Name for New Group - Fourth Round

DCR, I like almost anything with "Alliance" in the name and in any arrangement as well. I was glad to see you picked or I guess liked something similiar to the name I like, the magic word being, "Alliance".

But whatever name is choosen by the group is fine with me. Yesterday I gave Paul P. the opportunity to use my vote for whatever he so chooses for the name he picks. I did just for the sake of getting a name chosen.

"Alliance" has a strong feel about it.
"Volunteer/s" has weak feel about it. Just my opinion. I think at this time it's important to choose a name and to get over that hurtle.

What I'd like to suggest to everyone is, ... How about choosing a Group Name" on Sat. the 24th at the springs? If any of us cannot make it on that day, then those who can not show, would then vote by this forum, but only after the Saturday vote in person, so as to not to be influenced. When we vote in person, it would be done by secret ballot, write your pick on a piece of paper, fold it and stick it in a hat/can. Ron gets the ballots and counts them at home. Those voting by the forum our vote on Sunday.
All votes go directly to Ron and then a day or two later, he would reveal "Groups Name" on this forum.

It's late and just got home from work and a little tired. I hope I made sense. How do the rest of you feel about the Saturday vote?
Personally, I feel it's time to get the name of the group chosen and to get on with resolving the brochure.

One last thing, ...and it's has been bothering me a little lately. I don't know everyone of you yet. I know Wizard, I think I know you DCR, not real sure though, I know Ron finely and the rest you, I do not know.
I think it's time to meet and talk and get to know one another, and Saturday the 24th would be good. This talking thing on the forum bugs me.
