Hi all, I'm doing some research on a plane crash that happened south of Lion Canyon in September of 1974. This was a Piper Comanche, possibly with a light-colored body. Curious if anyone who's visited the area for decades remembers the wreck, which was about 200 yards up from the creek. SB County Sheriff, Forest Service, owner, and pilot have no record/memory of the wreck being removed. But a lot can happen in 50 years! Happy to send photos of the area, if needed.
