That is spelt tax a 4 letter word, of couse. In this state if your income is less than 50k and you are over 60 you are exempt from paying income taxes. Or so my taxes guy tells me every year. However, Code enforcement fined me 14 hundred for maintaining an unsafe building on my property. It was so because they refused to give me a permit to refurbish it during the covid crisis. The judge said I had to follow the same rules as every one else. In 1999 they fined me 350$ for NOT having 2 US certified trash cans on public display. The thieves excuse ME politicians get us one way or another. And I am NO exception either. And now my spell checker will not let me spell taxs.taxes. dammit! Don't get me started...
