Mike was open and in good spirits. He added a second parking area closer to the springs. I asked the lady who works for him on the way out about their competition and she said they were closed and trying to get permits for their plans. I did not leave after my encounter with the idiots. The hammocks they set up over the contemplation pool made it impossible to pass by the pool. you had to go around and climb the rocks. People were just doing that because most people are going to avoid conflict or they had never been there and didn't know any better. Not me, I saw what they were doing and told them how selfish and idiotic they were. Stupid college age girls and a snowflake in a hammock were no threat to me. I had a few good conversations with some cool young people in the upper tub and put down a few beers. I tried to find a nice shade spot that was semi private up the stream but there were so many tents it was impossible to walk up the beach. Tents, cords, everywhere. I tripped on a rock that moved while walking and just got pissed and decided to go. Stayed about 3 hours.
