40K did sound a bit expensive for a helicopter ride smiling smiley Ralph sent me that video of the guy getting CPR from Ron. A long time ago I used to be an EMT and as long as they were working on him I guessed he did not make it. Regarding this recent incident, maybe it was down somewhere along the area of the PCT just upstream from the Mohave Forks dam where the terrain on both sides of the trail is very steep. Once many years ago a DCHS regular was riding up the PCT in that section of the trail on horses with his friends and one of the horses got spooked and went over the side falling down to the bottom of the canyon. The man luckily was able to jump off before going over the cliffs too. The horse was still alive but badly injured and had to be put down. It is a nice view of the canyon from up there high above the creek and I enjoy seeing the vistas smiling smiley
