Yes waiting until spring would be wise! There are many great hot springs up in the Mammoth and Bridgeport areas. Travertine and Buckeye near Bridgeport are awesome soaks anytime. Mammoth Long Valley Caldera has many great hot springs. Crowley’s, Hot Creek, Molly’s, Hot Tub ,and Shepard’s just
to name a few .Enjoy!
