The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
San Bernardino County in southern California...

* Until 230 PM PDT

* At 1126 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding will likely begin
shortly.

* Some locations that will likely experience flooding include...
San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, Big Bear City, Mount San
Gorgonio, Forest Falls, Lake Arrowhead, Highland, Big Bear Lake,
Running Springs, Angelus Oaks, Hwy 18 Between Running Springs And
Skyforest, Hwy 38 Between Yucaipa And Onyx Summit, Hwy 18 Between
Running Springs And Big Bear, Seven Oaks, Skyforest, Baldwin Lake,
Mentone, Highway 330 Between San Bernardino And Running Springs
and Hwy 18 Between Baldwin Lake And Lucerne Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain, especially in and around these areas.
