A huge tree was knocked over this winter and there is a bee hive in it right next to the trail. Saturday while I was calmly watching the bee activity one of them just flew up landed on my arm and stung me. So, I don't think these are ordinary honey bees.
Just remain calm and quickly walk past these bees.
