Paul, I have only been soaking in the Phoenix Pool this fall, and when someone told me about what was going on it was late in the day. When I heard the sounds earlier I did not know that it was about any pool work. Usually that time of day I am talking to people. I think too that I thought that it would be something smaller than it actually is so I never walked over there that day to see what it looked like. When I finally did see it I was surprised at how big the rocks where on top of the dam, and the whole thing was larger than I expected. After this next week with the rain that is forecast, the Phoenix Pool may be under the stream, in which case I will use the Anniversary Pool. The rock crossing most likely will be under higher water so it will be back to wading the creek
