Re: Kayak or small raft down deep creek

One spring many years ago as I was spending the day upstream from DCHS when the creek was running high from spring runoff, two kayakers did paddle by where I was at. That's the only time I ever have seen any doing it. Later at home I did a search and did find one website called Deep Creek Kayaking, or something like that. That site discussed put in spots and other info about what to expect. I don't have the address of that site so I don't know if you can find it through google, or if its even active anymore. Deep Creek is real low right now because we had a very dry winter, so you can forget any kayaking at this point, it is definitely not doable. Also Willow Creek is a small tributary and it would be out of the question for kayaking, any time of the year.
