There are many islands of junipers and vegetation where the animals are just bear-ly hanging on.Critical habitat.I tracked a mama cat with 2 cubs last year and picked up tracks again last month in juniper flats.There is a reall cool valley unburned off bowen ranch road just past the road to Luna Vista.Its on the left side going up.There are a couple of healthy pinyon pines mixed in the juniper and those seeds may sprout new trees.Check it out and leave only footprints.
