Re: Trip report from hell

That's disheartening. Other than the first time I went to Bowen Ranch and Mike threatened to take out his shotgun at me for coming back at sunset (gate was already up around 7pm and having only paid $5) I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Deep Creek. I've gone thru Bowen Ranch a few other times without incident but I've since chosen Bradford Ridge Trail and Freedom Trail as better options. Everyone's experiences vary and I hope this guy doesn't give up that easily (or perhaps do more research, talk to Deep Creek veterans, etc.) I miss Deep Creek already! Anyone been there lately? It's been well over 100F in Berdoo Valley lately that I'm too scared to venture out in the heat. Dev
