Showed up at Bowen ranch about 9:00. Only a couple of cars there. Free Hiked down to the springs. Weather was perfect, about 65 degrees. Saw no one on the way down. When I got down to the springs there were about 15 or so people. The pools were clean with very little trash around. Most people there were textile though. As the day wore on people left and more came. Some down from Bowen ranch and some down Bradford ridge/PCT. By about 2:00 there were about 30 people mostly textile and mostly people under 30 years old. It was a very nice day with no rowdy crowd at all. Very mellow. When I free hiked out about 2:30 I passed several groups on the way down. The roads into Bowen were fair. I have a small compact car and had no problem. Excellent Day!
