It is great. When I was there on Friday, it was a cold morning but up in the 80s and hot later in the afternoon, which is when the Contemplation Pool was in pretty frequent use. It is beautiful to be there in the shade and soaking.
On the burn area: That is why I wrote I couldn't figure it out. Since it is behind the outcropping, and amid the water sources, and the plant growth has gotten so thick, I wondered: Did someone actually try to clear the area with a controlled burn? But it seemed ridiculous to think that, and dangerous, and so I wondered why there would be anyone with a fire behind the springs like that. So dangerous if it was set by someone on purpose. Only acceptable, I guess, if it were a lightning strike!
