THIS AFTERNOON...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO
MOVE NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 15 MPH OVER THE MOUNTAINS. THESE SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AT
LOWER ELEVATIONS WITH PONDING OF WATER IN LOW LYING AREAS...SMALL
HAIL...LOCALLY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
ABOVE 6500 FEET...SNOW IS LIKELY WITH A FEW INCHES POSSIBLE AT THE
HIGHEST ELEVATIONS. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION...AS THE
VISIBILITY MAY SUDDENLY DECREASE IN RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS AND THE
ROADS WILL BE SLICK.
