THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EXTREME
SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS MORNING FOR THE SAN DIEGO
COUNTY DESERTS...LOWER COACHELLA VALLEY...AND DESERT SLOPES OF THE
RIVERSIDE AND SAN DIEGO COUNTY MOUNTAINS.

SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGH DESERTS
THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

THE FLASH FLOOD POTENTIAL INDEX IS LOW. THE RISK OF FLASH FLOODING
IS MINIMAL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS...HIGH DESERTS...AND
THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE INLAND VALLEYS FOR THURSDAY AFTERNOON
AND EARLY EVENING. THE FLASH FLOOD POTENTIAL INDEX IS MODERATE.
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AND ISOLATED FLASH FLOODING
IS POSSIBLE.

SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGH DESERTS
FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

HIGH SURF WITH VERY STRONG RIP CURRENTS AND MODERATE BEACH EROSION
ARE POSSIBLE FROM EARLY FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH THE WEEKEND ALONG
SOUTH FACING SHORES OF THE ORANGE AND SAN DIEGO COUNTY BEACHES.
SURF HEIGHTS EXPECTED TO PEAK AT 6 TO 9 FEET SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
WITH HIGHER SETS.
