Re: Winter Storm Warning

Yes Rick it was very windy during the day on Thursday while I was hiking. I really had to bundle up with my beanie and a scarf around my neck to keep warm :-) I have an old DCHS friend who lives in Pasadena which I saw on the news got hit hard by the winds with many trees toppled over. I'll have to give him a call today to see how he fared in the wind storm. Today ( Saturday ) it is once again very windy and cold too here in the high desert. I saw on the vapor image satelite that the air is coming straight down thru California from Canada and other places far north. We have our wood stove fired up and are staying cozy :-)
