.A COLD STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE SOUTHWARD ALONG THE WEST COAST
THROUGH SATURDAY. THIS STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING HEAVY
SNOWFALL LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY EVENING WITH THE MOST
WIDESPREAD HEAVY SNOWFALL LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING. SNOW LEVELS WILL LOWER TO 2000 TO 2500 FEET SATURDAY AND
SATURDAY NIGHT...LOCALLY LOWER IN HEAVIER SHOWERS.

* SNOW LEVELS: LOWERING TO 2000 TO 2500 FEET.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 8 TO 12 INCHES ABOVE 3500 FEET WITH 12 TO 22
INCHES ABOVE 5500 FEET.

* TIMING: FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON. GREATEST
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY

VISIBILITY NEAR ZERO AT TIMES. TRAVELERS THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS
SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR HAZARDOUS WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS.
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO CHECK THE LATEST ROAD REPORTS BEFORE
DEPARTING. ALWAYS CARRY CHAINS AND TAKE EXTRA FOOD AND CLOTHING
IF YOU MUST TRAVEL INTO THE MOUNTAINS. SNOWFALL WILL LIKELY
IMPACT TRAVEL ON INTERSTATE 15 THROUGH THE CAJON PASS FRIDAY
NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
