I hiked in today on Bradford Ridge. There is still snow on the trail in many places, mostly in shaded areas and on the north facing slopes, but it is not bad. It is good to have trekking polls There was also snow on 173 out of Twin Peaks in a few areas, but it is melting fast, I had 4X4 but you may not need it. There was just 3 or 4 of us at the springs today and I had the place to myself until about 11:15. Everyone I saw at the springs today came from Bradford or the dam on the PCT. The PCT hikers said there are one or two washed out spots that are pretty bad. No one crossed from Bowen/Freedom while I was there.
