Sure you can. When you get to the signs identifying Bowen ranch, back up a little and turn to the right. You go up the bumpy hill and go three quarters of a mile to your first left. Go 1.2 miles to your second left go about 200 yards to your third left and go one half a mile to the Freedom trail head. DO NOT GO down the steep hill past there with out 4 wheel drive and high ground clearance. The north side of the road is BLM. South of there or on the right as you are coming in.is where the S.B.National forest begins. The trail head is on the south end of the parking lot near the large boulders.
