Regarding the "abandoned" tent; what did you do with it?

Just curious, because I sometimes leave my tent set up (near the freedom trail) and hike around, and would be pretty aggravated if I came back and found my tent missing. Wouldn't be likely to stumble across my camp, since there is a lot of desert to hide in, but if for some reason you come across a small blue and gray tent, please leave it. I assure you it isn't abandoned.

Were you really that shocked to find a fire pit? people are idiots, and I doubt half of them know about the fire restrictions. Or the dangers of having an open campfire on a windy hill top with a bunch of dry brush around.
