Mellowguy, thanks for one of the most excellent trip reports we've had here at the forum. You captured both the profound quintessential essence of the experience, as well as the unfortunate downside that occurs due to continuing population growth and the influx of undesirables. I'll have to admit that the "shower" is also my wife's favorite part of the Deep Creek experience and it never disappoints ;-). Also glad you had a positive and safe camping experience.
