Paul is absolutely correct here, this is NOT a good idea whatsoever. I'm a former firefighter, and fire can get away in a split second, from even the most trained of us. I don't even think the USFS would hold a controlled burn in that area. So definitely not an option for anyone else to try it. Theres no great answer to alleviate the trash. Really sounds like there needs to be more policing from rangers more often and tickets given out. They cant be there every minute of the day though. People need to just realize we're trashing some of the last few naturally beautiful places we haven't already ruined. Thanks to everyone else picking up their mess !
